About the owner
Hi I’m Emma and welcome to Butterfly Nails and Beauty. This business is my baby and over the years I have nurtured it and watched it grow. I started 16 years ago and have worked hard to now become an accredited trainer and I’m happy to say I’m also opening up a training school.
Outside of our thriving salon I am also a very busy mother to both human and fur babies therefor having a warm environment in the salon is so important to me so that all busy worn down mums can come and have a coffee and the time away they need to feel their best again.
The Butterfly Journey
Here is where it all began. 16 years ago as a first time mum to a two year old, I started my journey to creating what we know now to be a thriving salon. I began with my first passion, which was nails. I started as a mobile nail technician fitting in around my new life within motherhood and a second job working in a sweet company.
As my client base grew and demand for my services became higher I decided to take the plunge and my husband built a summerhouse so I could focus more time on the job that I loved as well as training and increasing my treatment list.
Within 6 months my client base had grown and I was offered a salon space in Winton to run but it wasn’t long before even that space wasn’t enough for my ever growing business and we moved again.
Out first real salon in Kinson allowed me to build a team of qualified and passionate people within the beauty industry.
After 4 wonderful years we knew it was time to expand again.
We are now comfortably settled in Wimborne Road with 3 Treatment Rooms, 2 Pedicure Stations, 5 Nail Desks, 4 Hair Stations, 1 Make up Station, Basins, Reception and a Training Room coming soon!
